Shri Anil Kumar Bagdas, Additional Secretary under the Department of Personnel has been conferred with the Certificate of Meritorious Service on the occasion of Republic Day, 2026. He is a senior member of Sikkim State Civil Services.
He initially joined the government service in 1987 and since then, he continued rising to the upper stairs of administration through his sincerity and personal growth. Through his unwavering commitment integrity and perseverance, he gradually rose through the ranks to become Additional Secretary. In his career spanning 38 years he has performed exceedingly well with dedication and integrity. He has made outstanding contribution in the service related matters of various cadres and has been integral member of the 5th Pay Commission team. He has played pivotal role in handling of judicial and legal, administrative matters of his Department.In recognition of his exemplary dedication the State Government has conferred the Certificate of Meritorious Service on the occasion of Republic Day,2026. The members of the Sikkim State Civil Services have congratulated him for this milestone and have expressed their gratitude to the Hon’ble Chief Minister and the State Government.
