The twenty members of Sikkim State Civil Service have been promoted to the post of Additional Secretary and Joint Secretary on officiating capacity as per the office orders No.7639/G/DOP and No.7641/G/DOP dated 31.12.2025 respectively.
The 10 promoted Additional Secretary are Mr. Subodh Kumar Pokhrel, Mrs. Asha Subba, Mrs. Bindu Dhakal, Mr. Himmat Rai, Mr. Anil Kumar Bagdas, Mrs. Sharmistha Pradhan, Mr. Milan Rai, Mr. Prem Kamal Rai, Ms. Perna Tsomo and Mr. A.B. Gurung while the 10 Joint Secretaries promoted are Mr. Karma Sherpa, Mrs. Wangmu Gensapa, Mr. Rakam Singh Rai, Mrs. Rupa Devi Sharma, Mrs. Hema Devi Sharma, Mr. Prakash Rai, Mr. Agni Prasad Chettri, Ms. Sarojini Subba, Mrs. Sonam Chhoki Yonzon and Mr. John Gurung. The promoted officers have extended their deep gratitude and appreciation to the Government for considering their promotions on time and bestowing them with a perfect new year gift.
